Cycle touring events

• PIRENAICA 2011

PIRENAICA is a bike ride through the Pyrenees up ports and discovering mythic landscapes. No times or rankings or awards. All cyclists depart together and they all come together. Climbing each carry their own pace, but at the top the squad regroups. The organization's priority is to maintain the spirit of support and friendship.

PIRENAICA 2011 runs in 6 stages over 650 miles on a tour that will start and finish in URZAINKI (Navarra), through the Val d'Aran. Cyclists will have the opportunity to ascend mythic ports as Marie Blanque, Aubisque, Hautacam, Luz Ardiden, Tourmalet, Aspin, Larraus ... more than 16,500 vertical meters.

There will be 4 groups of 50 cyclists each. During the tour, with support vehicles to carry the luggage, prepare supplies, and provide a sag wagon in case someone needs it.
